At The Richland Hospital and Clinics, we believe exceptional cancer care should be available close to home. Through our partnership with UW Health Carbone Cancer Center, patients have access to expert oncology services, advanced treatments, and personalized care plans without leaving the community they know and trust. Our team works closely with patients, families, and specialists to provide compassionate support at every stage of the cancer journey.
At the heart of our program is the Kraemer Infusion Center, established in 2006 through a generous gift from the Douglas M. Kraemer family. In a comfortable, welcoming environment, we provide chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and a wide range of infusion services for cancer and other complex health conditions. Our goal is simple: to deliver high-quality care that keeps patients connected to the comfort, support, and convenience of home.
Through our partnership with the UW Health Carbone Cancer Center, patients can receive expert cancer care close to home. Our team works closely with visiting UW Health oncology specialists to provide coordinated, personalized treatment plans, helping patients navigate every stage of care with confidence and support. We care for individuals facing a wide range of cancer diagnoses and offer services that include cancer screening, diagnosis, chemotherapy, infusion therapy, symptom management, cancer navigation, and ongoing care coordination.
Cancer care is about more than treatment. It’s about having a team that listens, supports, and walks alongside you and your loved ones throughout the journey. We are committed to providing compassionate care, trusted expertise, and access to resources that help patients focus on healing while staying connected to the people and community they love. If you have questions about cancer care services or would like to learn more about your options, we’re here to help. Talk with your primary care provider about a referral or contact our team today.
In addition to chemotherapy infusions, we also offer:
For nearly 40 years, the Friendship Quilters Guild has brought creativity, connection, and compassion to the Richland Center community. Through their Labor of Love project, guild members handcraft and donate quilts to patients receiving treatment at the Kraemer Infusion Center, offering comfort, warmth, and encouragement during their cancer journey.
The quilts are made by quilters of all experience levels who share a passion for giving back. Delivered by guild members throughout the year, these thoughtful gifts provide a meaningful reminder to patients that they are supported by a caring community. As Kraemer Infusion Center Lead RN Michelle Brewer shares, the guild’s generosity has a powerful impact on patients and staff alike.
