HEALTHCARE PRICING INFORMATION

PRICING INFORMATION

HFMA has developed a guide to help consumers understand where to get answers to their questions about healthcare pricing, compare priceing among providers, and manage your out-of-pocket costs.
Below are links to the guides:

Wisconsin Hospital Association’s Price Point

The PricePoint web site allows healthcare consumers to receive basic, facility-specific information about healthcare services and charges. Consumers can query information for Inpatient services, Outpatient Surgeries, Emergency Department and Urgent Care visits, Observation services, and ancillary services like radiology and therapies.

Find prices for services, and compare with other hospitals through PricePoint.

NOTICE TO PATIENTS

CMS announced updated guidelines for hospitals to comply with the Transparency Requirement of the Affordable Care Act. Effective Jan. 1, 2019: hospitals, including critical access hospitals, are required to make available a list of their current standard charges to the public.

DETERMINING OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS

The best way to determine your out-of-pocket costs is to contact your insurance company (their contact information is on your insurance card). They can review benefits, deductibles, co-pays and other information to determine what you’ll need to pay.
The link below is a list of all billable line items provided by The Richland Hospital and should be used as a reference only. The cost of a procedure is the total sum of many billable line items included in our fee schedule. To estimate what a procedure will cost, a Business Office representative must be contacted as there are multiple billable line items for any given procedure.
