The Partners for Prevention Coalition was formed in 2018 with a mission to engage Richland County residents to prevent youth substance use by creating safe and healthy communities. The organization is managed through the Drug-Free and Community Health Coordinator at The Richland Hospital and Clinics.
The group’s prevention initiatives include:
  • Preventing underage drinking by reducing access
  • Preventing use of nicotine products including smoking & vaping
  • Addressing the use of marijuana/cannabis and hemp-related products
  • Education & information on other drugs
  • Preventing misuse of prescription drugs & over-the-counter medication
