RICHLAND CENTER, WI – The Richland Hospital and Clinics saw its first baby of 2026 come into the world on Thursday, January 8, at 7:06 AM.
Lilliana, born to Ashley Dank and Dustyn Schneider, weighed a healthy 7 lbs., 2 ounces, measured 20 inches and was delivered by the birth center team led by Laci Banker, CNM (certified nurse midwife). 2025 was an exciting year for TRHC’s Joan Woodman McCollum Birth Center, with 117 new arrivals welcomed, including three sets of twins! The months of May and June were the busiest with 15 deliveries each. The most popular boy name was Liam, and Elizabeth was crowned the most popular for girls.
TRHC is fortunate to have wonderful providers who are lucky to end up in the delivery room after helping with prenatal care. The top five who assisted in deliveries were Laci Banker, CNM (certified nurse-midwife), Dr. Andrew Wright, Dr. Lauren Thomas, Dr. Crystal Lumi, and Dr. Taryn Lawler.
