The Richland Hospital to establish alternate retail pharmacy services in 2024

Richland Center, WI – Effective January 31, 2024, Richland Family Prescription Center will no longer operate as a retail pharmacy on-site at The Richland Hospital and Clinics (TRHC). TRHC is unable to renew the lease for Richland Family Prescription Center.

TRHC board of directors and administration acknowledge the longstanding and valued pharmacy business operated by Paul Corcoran yet have decided to move in a different direction with pharmacy services. Additional details remain undefined at this time, however, TRHC is committed to reestablishing pharmacy services at the hospital as quickly as possible. “We appreciate Paul Corcoran’s selfless service to the community in many ways over the years. The Richland Hospital remains committed to its charitable mission and to continuing to ensure that the hospital is the community’s first choice for better health,” TRHC CEO Bruce Roesler commented.

TRHC acknowledges that there may be a lapse in retail pharmacy services at the hospital for a brief period during which all Richland Family Prescription Center patient needs will be accommodated by other pharmacies. TRHC is working to minimize inconvenience to pharmacy customers and re-establish pharmacy services on-site as quickly as possible.

Customers of Richland Family Prescription Center will receive further information from the pharmacy directly. Patients of local clinics will be asked about their choice of pharmacy at the time of their next visit with their provider.
