About Taryn Lawler, DO
Dr. Taryn Lawler grew up near Minneapolis, and before going to medical school, she worked as a preschool teacher, a Special Olympics teacher and coach, a medical secretary, and a phlebotomist. She went to Osteopathic Medical School in California. She completed Family Medicine Residency and a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She and her husband moved to the area in 2016, and they both feel grateful to have found such a beautiful place to call home.
Her favorite parts about patient care are: getting to know her patients, watching families grow, joining people on a personal level as they work their way through a health-related concern, and seeing them feel better! She finds it to be an honor and a privilege to share in their decision-making process and help each person feel able to do what they want (and need) to do in their lives.
