Dr. Africano, OB-GYN specialist, joins The Richland Hospital and Clinics team

Richland Center, WI – The Richland Hospital and Clinics (TRHC) is pleased to announce that Enrique A. Africano, MD, has joined the TRHC team.

Bringing an extensive background, Dr. Africano is a bilingual, board-certified OB-GYN with a sub-specialization in Urogynecology. He has additional training and expertise in consultative and operative support of high-risk pregnancies.

Dr. Africano received his doctorate at the Howard University College of Medicine, completed OB-GYN residency training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center as well as fellowship training at The Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a principal teaching hospital of Harvard University.

Through military deployment and academic postings, Dr. Africano has broad international experience and has practiced in Europe, the Far East, Australia, and New Zealand. Dr. Africano is a General Gynecologist and accomplished minimally-invasive pelvic surgeon. He brings an additional practice focus in the management of female incontinence/pelvic floor disorders.

Dr. Africano is pleased to join the staff at The Richland Hospital, where he will broaden the scope of women’s services to include General Gynecology, Family Planning, Urogynecology as well as Consultative Obstetrics. He looks forward to living and engaging in the community.
