About Matthew Grade, MD
As a native of Elm Grove, Wisconsin, Dr. Grade is the son of a family doctor. He attended Northwestern Medical School with Richland Hospital Clinic Doctor, Bob Smith. Additionally, he completed his residency in Family Medicine at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison with Dr. Neil Bard – also a Richland Hospital Clinic Doctor. After practicing the full scope of family medicine in Sauk Prairie for thirty-five years, Dr. Grade practiced as a GP in New Zealand for six months in 2017. In the last four years, Dr. Grade had filled various needs in the Richland Center healthcare setting, including providing office surgery (including skin cancer removals), podiatry services when the podiatrist is unavailable, and treating patients in the clinic when their primary provider is unavailable. Dr. Grade travels between the 3 local nursing homes every week and is in the clinic four days a week.
