Richland Hospital Chemotherapy & Oncology
Chemotherapy at Richland Hospital’s Douglas M.Kraemer Community Care Center
Richland Hospital wants to be your first choice for cancer care. We provide chemotherapy administration to many patients each year. Chemotherapy is the general term for any treatment involving the use of chemical agents to stop cancer cells from growing. A chemotherapy treatment plan and schedule usually includes drugs to fight cancer plus drugs to help support completion of the cancer treatment.
Your oncologist will develop a treatment plan scientifically designed for you, based on your type of cancer, its stage of advancement, and your overall health.
Once you and your doctor have decided on a treatment plan, talk with your doctor about receiving your chemotherapy at Richland Hospital. Richland Hospital works closely with oncologists from UW Health and Gundersen Lutheran. Registered nurses in our Kraemer Center are certified by the Oncology Nursing Society and offer specialized, skilled, and compassionate care during your treatments.
