Raise
money in a contest to win prizes.
Players are asked to solicit funds from the community. Each player is
asked to bring three pledges per yard to the event., plus as many paid
contributions as possible. Players then hit, kick or throw an item of
choice.
Last year, the top prize winner, with a total of of $2,500 raised, went
to Michael Robel, winning a Laptop Computer sponsored by Advanced
Technology Solutions. Second prize went to JoEllen Frawley, with a total
of $2,131 raised, winning a $500 gift certificate from Harlans Furniture
and Appliance.
