THE RICHLAND HOSPITAL EXCEEDS OVERALL PATIENT SATISFACTION GOAL OF 90% FOR FEBRUARY, 2010

One of the eight quality assurance goals that the Richland Hospital, Inc. Executive Board’s Quality Committee set for 2010 was to achieve and maintain a Press Ganey Overall Patient Satisfaction Score of 90% or above for two consecutive quarters.

90% Patient Satisfaction

As of February, 2010, the overall patient satisfaction for the Richland Hospital was 90.5%. The Hospital would like to congratulate all of its employees on achieving this goal for the month of February, and encourage them to maintain this score for two consecutive quarters. Other quality goals for 2010 encompass Medicare core and non-core measures, JCAHO National Patient Safety Goals, department level customer service goals, and involvement with physicians in developing a physician scorecard.
