Telephones are available in all patient rooms.

· Local calls: Dial 9 + local number.

· Long Distance Calls: Dial 9 + 0 + area code + local number. Be prepared to give your credit card calling number or whatever information that may be required.

To reach the hospital switchboard, dial “0”. Personal cell phones may be used anywhere in the hospital.

If you need a hearing enhanced telephone, contact your nurse. We also have a special telephone communication system (TDD) available for patients with hearing impairments. Please ask your nurse or the social worker for information about this device.

Wireless internet is available in many areas of the hospital. Patients and their family members are free to bring their laptops from home.
