Every month, the Richland Hospital Foundation hosts one-hour tours we call First Choice Experiences. The tours often change to show different parts of the hospital. In 2008 and 2009, the surgery department has been the primary focus. The Foundation's goal is to begin or enhance the relationship between patients and the Richland Hospital.

In October, the foundation hosts a one hour breakfast to further develop relationships with people in Southwest Wisconsin. During the breakfast, people from the Richland Hospital, the Foundation, and the community share their own prospectives about the Richland Hospital. At the end, attendees are asked to consider making a donation to the event. Video testimonies are an important part of the event, so we freely provide copies of them upon request.
