The Richland Hospital has initiated a "Collect Less, Impact More" quality focus. With this focus, the metrics (measurements) we collect will be evaluated to determine that they are required and/or support a hospital strategic objective.
The metrics (measurements) that matter will be:
Richland Hospital collects and reports core measures as required by the Joint Commission (JCAHO). It also participates in the Wisconsin Hospital Association's CheckPoint. In addition, the Richland Hospital encourages feedback from its patients and conducts surveys of inpatient, outpatient and emergency services through Press Ganey.
