LOST &
FOUND
Although we cannot be responsible for
lost articles, such items will be returned to the main office if found. If
not claimed within ninety days, such items will be disposed of.
Mail
& Newspaper
Mail is distributed daily to patients.
Mail received after the patient has been discharged will be forwarded to
their home mailing address. The Wisconsin State Journal is offered daily.
Notary
Public
The hospital provides the services of a
Notary Public at no cost to patients. This service is available Monday
through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Contact your nurse for more
information regarding this service.
PARKING
There is free parking in the lots
adjoining the hospital and on the streets surrounding the hospital (where
allowed).
TELEPHONES
Telephones
are available in all patient rooms. You may make both long distance and
local calls from the telephone in your room.
· Local calls: Dial 9 + local number.
· Long Distance Calls: Dial 9 + 0 + area code + local number. Be prepared to
give your credit card calling number or whatever information that may be
required.
To reach
the hospital switchboard, dial “0”. There is a pay phone in the main
lobby on first floor.
If
you need a hearing enhanced telephone, contact your nurse. We also have a
special telephone communication system (TDD) available for patients with
hearing impairments. Please ask your nurse or the social worker for
information about this device.
TELEVISION
Patient
rooms have remote controlled television sets. There is no additional
charge for this service.
THE
CHILDREN'S LEARNING CENTER
The
hospital operates a Children’s Learning Center that provides childcare
for employees and members of the community. The center is licensed by the
State of Wisconsin and is staffed by highly trained and well qualified
individuals. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m.
until 5:00 p.m. For more information contact the Children’s Learning
