Surgical Services Manager

The Richland Hospital, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Surgical Services Manager. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall surgical services operations of the facility in accordance with current regulatory standards and guidelines. And, in conjunction with the CNO, and Chief of Surgery provides for fiscally responsible and clinically appropriate services that meet the surgical needs of our community.

QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing with demonstrated experience required. A Master’s Degree or Advanced Degree in Nursing such as Advanced Practice Nurse preferred. Demonstrated nursing leader with OR background and knowledge regarding OR processes required. Demonstrated experience in evaluating clinical care delivery, improving processes and program development is also required. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills. This is a full-time position.

Marketing Specialist

Respiratory Therapist

The Richland Hospital Inc. has a per diem position available for a Respiratory Therapist. This position will work on an as needed bases to cover open shifts and on-call shifts in the Respiratory Care Department. Under the direction of the Manager of Respiratory Care, the Respiratory Therapist monitors and assesses patients’ respiratory status in all areas including special care, medical / surgical and the emergency department plus performing complete pulmonary function testing. Minimum requirements: Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy or graduate of NBRC Accredited program. State of Wisconsin certification in Respiratory Therapy required. Nurse Practitioner Family Medicine (APNP)

The Richland Hospital, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner (APNP) specializing in Family Medicine to cover shifts on an as needed basis in our provider-based Rural Health Clinics located in Muscoda, WI and Spring Green, WI. The APNP will provide primary ambulatory care in collaboration with physician(s), serving individual patients of all ages. The APNP will maintain advanced knowledge base and skills in health promotion and maintenance, disease prevention, physical and psychosocial assessment, and management of health and illness in the health care of individuals across the full spectrum of ages; pediatrics, adult, geriatric clients. This is a PRN, week-day position, providing temporary coverage as required.

Qualifications/Certifications: APNP with unrestricted Wisconsin License and a minimum of two years of experience in an ambulatory clinic setting. Current certification from national certifying body approved by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing for Nurse Practitioners, Current certification as an advanced prescriber; Medicare/Medicaid eligible, no exclusion; DEA Registration, ACLS, PALS, CPR and a valid Wisconsin driver’s license.

Emergency Medicine Physician

The Richland Hospital, Inc. a not for profit, 25 bed, Critical Access hospital is currently seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine Staff Physician to provide approximately 24 hours of coverage per month.

The Richland Hospital’s 7 bed Emergency Department is staffed by a physician and nurses 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Emergency Department, which is a level IV trauma facility, receives approximately 5,500 annual visits. A separate Urgent Care, which is not covered by the Emergency Department staff, manages lower acuity patients. The Emergency Team consists of an ED Medical Director, four ED Physicians, ED Registered Nurses, a clinical coordinator, and ED Technicians. Laboratory services, Radiology services, and Pharmacy services are all available 24 hours a day. Aeromedical support is available for transport of critically ill patients to Madison or LaCrosse.

Applications Specialist

The Richland Hospital, Inc., has a full-time opportunity available for an experienced Applications Specialist. The Applications Specialist will translate business and functional requests into reports that meet the organization’s requirements. This position will also write documentation and train users on new applications as well as aid with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware devices. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required in this role. This is primarily a weekday position, with occasional night or weekend hours and an on-call rotation. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor or Technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the Meditech Hospital Information System and MS-SQL. Experience with MS Office Suite is required and knowledge of MS SharePoint is desired.
