Certified Nursing Assistant/Health Unit Clerk

The Hospital is seeking a CNA/Health Unit Clerk to work primarily on the Medical/Surgical Unit. In addition to the specific skill set of a Certified Nursing Assistant, this position requires: out-standing customer service skills; the ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, medical staff and all members of the healthcare team; a kind, upbeat personality; excellent computer skills; the ability to pre-register patients; scan into the EMR; access Practice Partner and order entry into EMR.

A successful candidate will have the ability to multi-task and to work effectively under pressure. This position will average 72 hours per bi-weekly pay period. It will include a combination of 8 and 12 hour, day and PM shifts, with an every third weekend and holiday rotation. Requirements: Certified Nursing Assistant.

Maintenance Worker I

The Richland Hospital, Inc. has a full-time position available for an entry level Maintenance Worker I. This position will average 40 hours per week. The scheduled shifts will be primarily third shift (8:30 p.m. until 6:30 a.m.) and occasional second shifts (1:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.) with a weekend and holiday rotation.

The Maintenance Worker I performs a variety of work to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment and provides security of the building and the grounds. This position is responsible for preventative maintenance and cleaning of equipment; observation of all mechanical devices for trouble free, efficient operation; reporting mechanical malfunctions to the appropriate personnel for action; floor care; cleaning specified areas; changing filters; drain treatment; garbage and linen pick-up and snow removal. Previous general maintenance experience preferred. This is a benefit eligible position.

Clerical Assistant

The Richland Hospital, Inc. currently has a full-time, weekday position available for a Clerical Assistant. This is a primarily clerical position with reception responsibilities for the Hospital’s Administrative Area.

Patient Financial Services Representative – Financial Counselor

The Richland Hospital Inc. has a full-time, weekday position available for a Patient Financial Services Representative – Financial Counselor. The Financial Counselor works with patients to establish and maintain payment plans, process Community Care applications, files probate claims and other collection processes. This position reviews and approves patient statements, monitors self-pay accounts and serves as a resource for patients with account questions. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent with post high school course work in a related field or experience in healthcare finance and/or services. Emergency Medicine Physician

The Richland Hospital, Inc. a not for profit, 25 bed, Critical Access hospital is currently seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine Staff Physician to provide approximately 24 hours of coverage per month.

The Richland Hospital’s 7 bed Emergency Department is staffed by a physician and nurses 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Emergency Department, which is a level IV trauma facility, receives approximately 5,500 annual visits. A separate Urgent Care, which is not covered by the Emergency Department staff, manages lower acuity patients. The Emergency Team consists of an ED Medical Director, four ED Physicians, ED Registered Nurses, a clinical coordinator, and ED Technicians. Laboratory services, Radiology services, and Pharmacy services are all available 24 hours a day. Aeromedical support is available for transport of critically ill patients to Madison or LaCrosse.

Registered Nurse

The Richland Hospital, Inc. is seeking qualified Registered Nurses to join our Medical/Surgical Unit. There are currently two, twelve hour night shift positions available. These shifts include an every third weekend and a holiday rotation.

The Registered Nurse will deliver age-specific care incorporating assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation utilizing the nursing process. The compassionate, personalized care and service that our employees give to our patients is the foundation of our organization.

Applications Specialist

The Applications Specialist will translate business and functional requests into reports that meet the organization’s requirements. Pharmacist

The Richland Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Registered Pharmacist. This is an irregular, part-time position, averaging 36 hours per pay period and it includes an every third weekend and an on-call rotation.
The Pharmacist is responsible for filling all prescription orders, preparing and dispensing medications and maintaining records. The Pharmacist also provides patient education and serves as a resource to other members of the healthcare team. An ideal candidate will have experience working in a hospital pharmacy, must hold a current WI Pharmacy License and must have excellent communication skills, a collaborative style and commitment to customer service, quality and patient safety. Experience with Meditech will be helpful.
