Clinical Exercise Physiologist

The Richland Hospital, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Clinical Exercise Physiologist. This is a part-time time, thirty-two hour per week position. The Clinical Exercise Physiologist is responsible for the day-to-day operation of Phase II and III Cardiac Rehabilitation, Pulmonary Rehabilitation and administering stress tests. The Clinical Exercise Physiologist develops exercise prescriptions and oversees exercise progression including EKG monitoring in patients with cardiovascular and pulmonary disease in a rehabilitative setting.

Education

Bachelor or Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology required with a specialization in cardiopulmonary health and rehabilitation preferred.

Experience

Previous experience or internships in cardiac and/or pulmonary rehab preferred.

Required Skills

  • CPR Certification and ACLS required.
  • American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Specialist required.
  • American College of Sports Medicine Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification completed within one year of employment.

Food Service Worker II

The Richland Hospital, Inc currently has an irregular, part-time position, 16 hours per week, available for a Food Service Worker II in the Dietary Department. This position performs a variety of tasks related to preparation, service, delivery, and clean up of patient trays. The Food Service Worker II is also responsible for cafeteria prep work and service, dishwashing and cleaning of assigned areas. This is not a benefit eligible position.

Information Systems Specialist

The Richland Hospital, Inc. has a full-time opportunity available for an experienced Information Systems Specialist. The Systems Specialist is responsible for providing operational support and administration support of the Microsoft Servers, Blades, running Server 2003, 2012, MS-Exchange and VMware. Knowledge of PC hardware, software, and networking protocols is essential. Configuration and troubleshooting skills are necessary. This is primarily a week-day position, that will require some after hours work as tasks demand and an on-call rotation. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor or Technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the Meditech Hospital Information System and MS-SQL. Experience with MS Office Suite is required and knowledge of MS SharePoint is desired.

Registered Dietitian/Certified Diabetes Educator

The Richland Hospital, Inc. currently has an opening for a part-time, approximately 35 hours per week, Registered Dietitian. This is primarily a day shift position, rotating every third weekend and an occasional holiday. The Dietitian is responsible for the nutritional care of both inpatients and outpatients including assessment, consultation, and education. The Richland Hospital has an ADA recognized Diabetes Education Program. This position will provide diabetes diet education and consultation to individuals of all ages, groups and the community; providing expert clinical leadership through education, research, interventions/consultations and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Dietetics from an accredited school.
  • Certified to practice as a Registered Dietitian in the State of Wisconsin.
  • Certified Diabetes Educator or the willingness to become certified.
  • Broad knowledge of clinical nutrition for all population groups.

A successful candidate will have excellent communication/counseling skills and experience preparing and presenting nutrition education for individuals and groups. The Hospital offers a competitive wage and benefits.

Registered Nurse – Special Care Unit

The Richland Hospital, Inc. currently has a position available for a Registered Nurse in our Special Care Unit that would also flex to the Medical/Surgical Unit. This is a twelve hour, night shift position, 1-2 scheduled shifts per week. The scheduled shifts involve an every third weekend and holiday rotation.

Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Wisconsin; CPR and ACLS certification required; and, a minimum of one year medical/surgical experience preferred.
