Certified Medical Assistant

The Richland Hospital Inc. is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant for the Muscoda Health Center who will occasionally fill in at Spring Green Medical Center.

The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting providers with scheduling, examination and patient care. Candidates must be willing to train to perform some basic laboratory procedures. A successful candidate will have the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in a professional manner and to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. Certified Nursing Assistant

The Richland Hospital Inc. currently has a position available for a Certified Nursing Assistant. This position will average 72 hours per pay period, primarily a combination of PM and Night Shifts, it may include some day shifts, with an every third weekend and holiday rotation. The CNA works collaboratively with the Registered Nurse while completing focused technical skills and procedures to support therapeutic or diagnostic interventions.

As a member of the direct care team, the Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible and accountable for complete and accurate data collection and recording, completion of routine and delegated direct care activities, and communicating and collaborating with the Registered Nurse to prioritize workload so that patient care outcomes are achieved.
The CNA promotes a cohesive environment and interacts effectively and professionally with all members of the patient care team.

Information Systems Specialist

The Richland Hospital, Inc. has a full-time opportunity available for an experienced Information Systems Specialist. The Systems Specialist is responsible for providing operational support and administration support of the Microsoft Servers, Blades, running Server 2003, 2012, MS-Exchange and VMware. Knowledge of PC hardware, software, and networking protocols is essential. Configuration and troubleshooting skills are necessary. This is primarily a week-day position, that will require some after hours work as tasks demand and an on-call rotation. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor or Technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the Meditech Hospital Information System and MS-SQL. Experience with MS Office Suite is required and knowledge of MS SharePoint is desired.

Patient Financial Services Representative – Financial Counselor

The Richland Hospital Inc. has a full-time, weekday position available for a Patient Financial Services Representative – Financial Counselor.

The Financial Counselor works with patients to establish and maintain payment plans, process Community Care applications, files probate claims and other collection processes. This position reviews and approves patient statements, monitors self-pay accounts and serves as a resource for patients with account questions.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent with post high school course work in a related field or experience in healthcare finance and/or services. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to effectively follow-up on processes, and proficient computer skills.

Registered Nurse – Special Care Unit

The Richland Hospital, Inc. currently has a position available for a Registered Nurse in our Special Care Unit that would also flex to the Medical/Surgical Unit. This is a twelve hour, night shift position, 1-2 scheduled shifts per week. The scheduled shifts involve an every third weekend and holiday rotation.

Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Wisconsin; CPR and ACLS certification required; and, a minimum of one year medical/surgical experience preferred. Rehabilitation Clerical Assistant

The Richland Hospital, Inc. has a full-time position available for a Clerical Assistant in our Rehabilitation Services Department. This position is responsible for all clerical and receptionist functions for the department which include:

  • Receiving and relaying telephone messages
  • Patient scheduling
  • Verification of insurance benefits
  • Submitting forms for authorization and tracking forms
  • Maintaining department statistics, forms and file system
  • Assembling outpatient charts and processing department records

Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Knowledge of computer operation and the use of Microsoft Word and Excel required. Candidates must have a high school diploma or the equivalent with post high school course work in a related field or experience with patient scheduling and insurance.

Ultrasonographer

The Richland Hospital Medical Imaging Department currently has a full-time position available for an Ultrasonographer. This position is generally scheduled on weekdays, it may include a weekend and on-call rotation.

The Ultrasonographer is responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment to perform a variety of ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis of patient illness and injury.

Education: Graduate of an approved school of Medical Sonography; American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers required; Associates Degree in Radiology preferred; Current licensed Radiographer through Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services preferred; CPR certification required.
