Health Information Coder

The Richland Hospital Inc. is seeking a qualified Health Information Coder. The Coder reviews documentation provided in the medical record to identify, assign, and sequence ICD-9 / ICD-10 and CPT codes. The position reviews medical necessity, assigns modifiers, and reviews DRG and APC assignments for appropriate payment of health care claims and for accurate statistical data displays.

  • A working knowledge of ICD-9-CM, ICD-10 and CPT-4 applications and clinical documentation requirements for regulatory reimbursement is required.
  • RHIA, RHIT and/or CCS or CPC required.
  • A minimum of one year experience in an acute care setting or physician practice preferred.

Pharmacist

The Richland Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Registered Pharmacist. This is an irregular, part-time position, averaging 36 hours per pay period and it includes an every third weekend and an on-call rotation.
The Pharmacist is responsible for filling all prescription orders, preparing and dispensing medications and maintaining records. The Pharmacist also provides patient education and serves as a resource to other members of the healthcare team. An ideal candidate will have experience working in a hospital pharmacy, must hold a current WI Pharmacy License and must have excellent communication skills, a collaborative style and commitment to customer service, quality and patient safety. Experience with Meditech will be helpful.

Physical Therapist

Richland Hospital offers a competitive salary commensurate with education/experience and an excellent benefits package. This is a full time position which includes a limited weekend rotation. Must be a graduate of an accredited school and licensed in WI or eligible for WI licensure. The Physical Therapist will work with an inpatient and outpatient population of all age groups, including pediatric and orthopedic patients, developing individualized treatment programs to maximize the individuals’ level of independence and provide the education to achieve and maintain that level.

Clinical Informatics Nurse

The Richland Hospital, Inc., has a full-time opportunity available for a Clinical Informatics Nurse. The Clinical Informatics Nurse will use clinical expertise to identify improvement opportunities and ensure accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation used for measuring and reporting patient care and outcomes, coding compliance and regulatory requirements. Requirements: Candidate(s) must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred, with a current RN license in the State of Wisconsin; experience in healthcare data management preferred; 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience; 2-3 years of experience using an electronic health record. Skills: A successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent critical thinking skills; strong broad-based clinical knowledge; familiarity with EBP research and interpreting clinical evidence; knowledge of, or willingness to learn, Meditech/EHR documentation system and interoperability.
