Katrina Wastlick uses words like, “thorough, confident, and personal” to describe her family physician, Dr. Kay Balink from the Spring Green Medical Center. Four years ago, Wastlick and her family moved here from the Madison area. Concerned about finding a quality doctor for her children, she took advice from her mother-in-law’s friend. “We had always used pediatricians in Madison,” Wastlick said. “I asked Dr. Balink if she had some time for me to ask her some questions and that it might take a while. She said, ‘no problem’ and pulled up a chair. She took time to answer my questions without rushing me.”

Wastlick said that she never saw her doctor during deliveries in Madison, where she had her two oldest children, but said that Dr. Balink was there for both of my younger children from the beginning. And, because Dr. Balink is a family physician, Wastlick says that her whole family uses her as their primary physician. “She is really thorough and covers everything. The kids all like her. She takes time to talk with each child, asking them how school is going or joking about what’s in their ears,” Wastlick said. “For the kids, going to the doctor is an adventure, thanks to Dr. Balink.”

“The best thing about going to the Spring Green Medical Center is the personal relationship my whole family has with them all. Sandy (Dr. Balink’s assistant) and Dr. Balink are awesome,” Wastlick said.

Grateful for the opportunity to care for patients in the area, Dr. Balink said, “We take very seriously the privilege our patients give us of their trust to care for their health.  Each individual has unique needs that we strive to integrate toward their personnel health care goals.”

Dr. Richardson has been a family practitioner in the area since 1982. Over the years, he has enjoyed helping patients, young and old, in their times of need. His quiet, comforting ways help to ease his patients’ concerns.

Wolk is an experienced physician assistant who is happy to care for your family’s healthcare needs.  His medical interests include a full range of family medicine, asthma care, and sports injuries.
